Feelin' Blue?

I saw a link to this story on the Coast To Coast AM website...

Is it the idea of being blue or more the living deep in the Kentucky woods that intrigues me?

On this hot ol' summer day I really couldn't say.

Y'all take your methylene blue na', hya'?!

Laburnam Crescent Art Show

BIG DEAL ART SHOW I AM IN...A one Ms. Janet Williams, an artist who works at the Monroe Branch Library has put together a show that consists of works by artists who currently live, or have lived, on Laburnam Crescent--a group to which I belong! I made a special, site-specific piece that sits atop the mighty 700's.

It will be up through April 29th, so that should give you plenty of time to find your overdue books and make your way over!

Tip o' the pin to Cathy Bileti, another artist in the show, and friend and former housemate, for bringing this event to our attention!

Gilda's Club Fashion Show

Bidding begins at a reception this Wednesday night on the hats in the "Hats Off To You!" silent auction to benefit Gilda (Radner)'s Club! Many local artistes contributed some wonderful hats, including moi!
That's Wed. April 7, 2004 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 255 Alexander St. (right near where Park Ave. begins). All are welcome! to have a look-see and enjoy some punch and light hors d'oeuvres. Just because it's a "silent" auction, doesn't mean there won't be merriment and jolly-making. Ho ho hee hee...
Come out and celebrate Ms. Billie Holiday's birthday, too!

The Surviving in Style Fashion Show, where the final bids will be made, is Sunday, April 25th, 11:00 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza. That costs some bucks ($40.00), so, if ya got it, why not spend it?! It's for a great cause, to be sure.
